Self-Defense and Aiki/Karate Skills
Week 7 | M, Tu, W, Th, F | Turner Gym | Ages 12 and up
This class is a basic introduction to the martial arts. Learn some easy to apply self-defense techniques along with exercises to improve your mind, body, and spirit. If you are interested in the history of the martial arts there will be something for you. We will look at both the physical and metaphysical side of self-defense. Learn techniques against open hand and also against weapons such as a knife, gun and club. In one week you will not become a master, but you will gain some skills that you can apply to defend yourself.
Class Times
Students should come to class prepared with the following materials:
- Umbrella;
- Athletic clothes.
