Create a Journaling Habit

Week 1 | Tu, W, Th | Turner 105 | Ages 14 and up

Journaling is an opportunity to help us become mindful and also capture the sights, smells, and sounds that allow us, like Anais Nin, to " . . . taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect." It allows us to re-live vacations and serve as companion for traveling or dining alone. This course reviews techniques to harness our memories and also explores the power of bullet journaling, a tool to help people get things done and expand creativity. Because many people start journals and abandon them, it also focuses on ways to establish and maintain a journaling habit.

Class Times

Students should come to class prepared with the following materials:

  • Pen;
  • Notebook in which to journal.
