Drawing With Colored Pencil for Adults
Week 7 | M, Tu, W, Th, F | Turner106 | Ages 14+
This class will take you to a new drawing level using colored pencils. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist this class will challenge you, using colored pencils. We will review two-point perspective, basic shading techniques, and using proportions. I will teach layering techniques that will enable you to create more realistic drawings. I welcome abstract and realistic artists. I will give demos each class showcasing different techniques that beginners and advanced students can use. Different paper, mat boards, and various tools will be used in class.

Tami Hritzay
B.S., art education, Edinboro Univ., PA. 30 years’ teaching experience from the Navajo reservation to Pennsylvania. Ages range from kindergarten to adults. Art is Hritzay's passion, and she teaches a variety of art forms. She loves to encourage the timid and bold to achieve their very best in art! A cancer survivor of 52 years, Hritzay is thankful to be alive, and her teaching and art reflect that.

- Colored pencil set (Prismacolor or other)
- 9x12 mixed media drawing tablet (Canson, Strathmore, Michael's store brand is fine)
