If you're an individual searching for a creative outlet, this class is a great place for you to learn and perform the art of improvisation in the safety of supportive Chautauqua. Our class, taught by theater veteran Emily Austin, is dedicated to helping you develop your artistic voice, both individually and within an ensemble. You'll learn the tools and technique of the craft and even have the opportunity to perform for friends and family in an end-of-session showcase!

B.A., University of S. Florida. Twenty two years' teaching experience K - 12 theatre performance; currently Director of Performing Arts at Bentley School in Oakland, Ca. Curriculum taught ranges from Shakespeare to Filmmaking to Improvisation. Active member of TheatreFirst in Berkeley.
