Jewish Perspectives on Good and Evil

In the past few years, we have witnessed an unprecedented amount of evil in the world, causing many to question or even abandon their belief in a just and compassionate God. Few resources dealing with this significant challenge to faith have been written from a Jewish perspective. This course will present an overview of how Jewish sages and scholars from Biblical times to the present have grappled with this vexing problem.
