Our America: A Virtual Conversation with Ken Burns

In this special virtual event at Norton Hall, frequent Chautauqua speaker Ken Burns joins Chautauqua President Michael E. Hill live in conversation to discuss Burns’s new book, Our America. Our America offers a pictorial history of America — a stunning and moving collection of some of the documentary filmmaker’s favorite photographs. In the book, Burns has assembled the images that, for him, best embody nearly 200 years of the American experiment, taken by some of our most renowned photographers and by others who worked in obscurity. Note: Michael Hill will appear in person on stage while Ken Burns joins him live on screen.
