Play Guitar!
Weeks 5 | M, Tu, W, Th, F | Turner 208 | Ages 10+
Learn guitar basics in one week! While this course is designed for beginners, players who are more advanced will acquire new information and be challenged to navigate the entire fingerboard. We will cover chords in three keys and work on strumming in different styles while we play folk, country, blues and rock tunes. Strategies on how to read TAB and standard notation will be covered. Students learn quickly in group settings. You may borrow a Chautauqua guitar for the week or bring your own. Ages: Children (10+) to senior citizens.
