Prayer Journaling for Hope and Comfort

Week 4 | M, W, F | Turner 105 | Ages 18+

The world is in need of hope and comfort, and in this class we will study voices from every era, culture and faith tradition to learn how challenging times have been faced by others. We will explore ways of writing our own prayers and/or spiritual poems, and experiment with different forms of prayer journaling — then we will create our own personal prayer journals to continue our practice at home. Students should bring poems or prayers of personal significance.
