Singing for Health and Wellness

Weeks 8, 9 | M, W, Th, F | UCC Chapel | Ages 16+

Emerging evidence suggests the potential health and wellness benefits of group singing in areas including respiratory function, vascular health, mood, memory, and pain management, as well as in improving posture and muscle tone. This practical course is designed for people who would like to sing, not only for pleasure, but also to improve their health and wellness. No previous singing or music-reading knowledge is required, although more experienced singers are welcome. The rewards of singing, in this context, are to be found in the practice rather than in the product!
