Tai Chi for Health

Week 1 | M, Tu, W, Th | Heinz Fitness 1 | Ages 14 and up

Learn a simple form of Tai Chi that is designed to improve your health, flexibility and balance. As you practice each part of the form, your confidence and ability to continue doing the form after the class ends will increase. Learn the movements in a safe and easy manner following a stepwise progressive method that was developed by Dr. Paul Lam of the Tai Chi for Health Institute.

Class Times

Students should come to class prepared with the following materials:

  • Comfortable shoes.

B.A. in Biology Austin College; M.S. Science Education University of Wisconsin. 34 years' experience teaching biology and chemistry at a private girls boarding school. Receipient of many teaching awards and commendations during my tenure as a high school teacher. Currently studying and teaching Tai Chi using Dr. Paul Lam's teaching method.
