The Laramie Project: Interpretation and Performance
Week 9 | M, Tu, W, Th, F | Smith Memorial Library Classroom | Ages 15+
Class will consist of reading The Laramie Project and discussing its journalistic and theatrical power. We will look at the true story that inspired the play and its place in theatrical history. One instructor has directed an award-winning production of the play, and both instructors have taught it, which lends unique experience to the discussion.

Mark Altchuler
Mark Altschuler has taught for over 30 years at the high school and college levels and for more than 20 years in Chautauqua’s Special Studies program. He has learned that discussion classes work exceedingly well with Chautauqua participants.
