Week 4 | M, Tu, W, Th, F | Hultquist 101 | Ages 16+
In the lexicon of American history, the name "Vietnam" is a synonym for an American "failure." For many veterans and their families, the war never ended; its unintended consequences are still with us 49 years later. This course will reexamine the impact of the U.S. involvement in Southeast Asia from 1955 to 1975 through literature of the war, personal experiences and class discussion. The instructor served in Vietnam from 1965 to 1966 as an intelligence officer.
