Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is slow-paced style of yoga, incorporating principles of the special asanas that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles. The poses are a simple and natural part of every day movements and function. Deep relaxation begins when while holding the poses and using properly guided breath work, which allows the fascia tissue to be released. By practicing in this way, the whole body benefits — as opposed to only targeted areas. Consequently, the whole body becomes posturally more aligned and deeper relaxation and release occurs within the body.
