Younger Tomorrow: Movement-Based Fitness

Week 5 | M, Tu, W, Th, F | Heinz Fitness 1 | Ages 14+

"Younger Tomorrow" is a movement-based class focusing on wellness through conditioning, strength and stretching techniques either seated or standing. This course includes concepts from dance, fitness and somatics, making it accessible for all ages and levels of fitness. The concepts of movement go beyond the one-hour class and encourage the participants to find moments throughout the day to move!

Joan E Van Dyke

Associate professor of dance, affiliate faculty for women’s and gender studies, Indiana Univ. of Pennsylvania. Appointed ballet master of the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts and was awarded the University Dance Teacher of the Year. She is a choreographer and educator nationally and internationally.
